With a Direct Primary Care Practice, everything you spend is for the delivery of your health care, not paying for levels of administrators who do their best to deny you the care for which you are paying so much already. (Please note: DPC is not insurance. It is a personal service contract with your personal physician)

High Overhead Costs for Health Care
Health Affairs projects administrative costs for health plans to increase dramatically in the next ten years. This year, 45% of federal spending tied to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) went to overhead. The $270 billion in new costs will be “over and above what would have been expected had the law not been enacted,” declared co-author Himmelstein. “It’s almost one out of every four dollars is just going to bureaucracy,” said co-author Woolhandler.
